5 June 2023 PLEASE NOTE: We no longer require you to wear a face mask when visiting our hospitals.
However, we would still request that if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms please do not attend one of our hospitals, or speak to a member of staff prior to your visit or appointment.
A mask may need to be worn in an inpatient area if there are increased respiratory infections on the ward. This will be discussed with you.

Hospital and ward visiting times
Community Hospital Visiting Hours
Visits may take place between 2pm and 8pm.
Our community hospitals include:
- Coalville Community Hospital
- Feilding Palmer Hospital (Lutterworth)
- Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital
- Loughborough Hospital
- Melton Mowbray Hospital
- Rutland Memorial Hospital
- St Luke’s Hospital (Market Harborough)
- City Inpatient Beds (Beechwood and Clarendon wards, Evington Centre)
Inpatient units
Langley Ward
- weekdays 2pm-5pm and 6.30pm-8pm
- weekends 10am-12pm, 2pm-5pm and 6.30pm-8pm
The Beacon
- pre-arranged flexible visiting working with families, visiting open after 3.30pm, main hours 6pm-8pm
Agnes Unit
- flexible visiting, some patients may have protected meal-times please call and speak to the nurse in charge.
Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP)
Visits can take place between 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Visits at alternatives times can take place if pre-arranged.
Our Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) wards include:
- The Coleman and Wakerley wards at the Evington Centre
- The Kirby and Welford wards at the Bennion Centre.
Mental Health Rehabilitation
There are no fixed visiting times, however we ask that visitors do not visit before 9am or after 9pm.
We use protected mealtimes on the ward to reduce unnecessary interruptions from health care staff. During these times, all non-essential activities will be stopped so that patients are not disturbed whilst eating. Family members are welcome during protected mealtimes to assist or encourage patient’s to eat and drink.

The Willows
- Breakfast 8am – 9am
- Lunch 12pm – 12.30pm
- Evening meal 5pm – 5.30pm
Stewart House
- Breakfast 8.30am – 9.15am
- Lunch 12.30pm – 1.15pm
- Evening meal 4.30pm – 5.15pm
If there are special circumstances that prevent a visit happening between 9am and 9pm, we ask that visitors contact the ward to make special arrangements
Mill Lodge
Visiting times are from Monday – Sunday
- 9:30am-12pm
- 1:30pm-4:30pm
- 6:30pm-8pm
If you require a visit outside these times, please discuss with a senior member of staff.
Bradgate Mental Health Unit
Visiting times are from Monday – Sunday
- 3.30pm – 6.00pm
- 6.30pm – 8.00pm
If you require a visit outside these times, please discuss with a senior member of staff. A Family room is available if you have children under the age of 18.
Griffin, Belvoir, Phoenix
Visiting times are from Monday – Sunday
- 2pm – 4.30pm
- 6pm – 7pm
